A hazy amber beer with a disappearing beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of ginger and cinnamon - and so is the flavor. A nice Christmas beer.

Bottled: Light orange/amber coloured. Beige dense medium sized head. Spiced (ginger and cinnamon) and sweet aroma. Flavour is malty and spiced and reminds me a lot of Christmas. Smoothe and pleasant. Is light hopped in the end. This is a nice beer from Secret Santa Mike (BBB63). Thanks.

Rather sweetish nose, some ginger, and some alcohol can be detected. Amber body with a small white head. Spicy flavro, ginger, somewhat watery and thin.

Draft, at CLBC, July 30, ’05 Served as "Christmas ale in July." Yup, it’s all there: honey, ginger and cinnamon. Kind of comes across as a pumpkin pie spice beer. Good maltiness. Turns out to be a good summer beer too, when enjoyed in a cellar bar.
2004 Bottle, rated Jan 12, ’05. Brown like an IPA when poured, and almost as hoppy. In fact, I think the spiciness in this beer comes more from hops than any spices themselves. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.. Rather, what I find is something more "easy drinking" than the usual overspiced holiday beer.

Wasn’t as impressed as some of my drinking buddies. Nice reddish brown color with a big beige head. Aroma was spicy. Very much like most Christmas ales. That spicy, gingery, fruity nose reminiscent of holiday cookies or fruit cakes. Light to meduim bodied, nice carbonation. Flavor was also that Christmas cookie type.

I loves a beer with honey in er. My first "Christmas" beer, and I was expecting over the top spices. Really nice though, with just enough ginger, honey, and cinnamon. Tasted much like better Burning River APA. Perfect amount of alcohol too.
