First beer post surgery, 12oz best by 1/02/08 meant to be consumed by date. Meant to give this away to a friend years ago but it never happened. Pours orange with a tan head. Nose is sweet and rich. Taste is good, carbonation has been lost buts good and sweet and rich, a touch cloying but good.

Aroma of cinamon and ginger and a faint metalic note. Dark honey color with a thin tight head. Flavor of honey and burnt malt. Sweet moving to a dry bitter finish.

carmely, hoppy, spice aroma. This keg has a maltier and more pronounced blend of spices than the previous keg draft I had last week. This keg would meld the flavors in another month but a nice beer.

Aroma is sour cherry with a grainy husk of barley. Mild cinnamon and white wine. I’m not in love; it’s a little too saccharine. The appearance is tons of fizzy carbonation. Clear, bright orange. Bubbles like ginger ale. The flavor is more cherry sweetness. A little spicy balance. Some forest-like hops. A lot better as it warms. The palate is fizzy but milky smooth. A sweetish winter ale. A bit too saccharine for me.

Compliments of Matty, pours a light copper color with a decent head and it laced ok. The aroma was of ginger, lots of it. The flavour was ginger, then cinnamon, and some sort of caramel malts underneath. Ginger and cinnamon slap, too much....

Compliments of the Undaunting DrBayern. Merry Christmas! Enjoyed with the crew, including Celticbrew, Our Beer Pimp Brian, Uncle Tom and two newbies Lawyer Bob and The Boy Wonder Chris. Ah, the aroma of nutmeg roasting on the openfire. Pours a copper color, clear. Nicely carbonated. You really get a taste of the nutmeg and ginger. Not offensive, well balanced. great Winter beer to share ONE with friends.

12oz bottle from Orland Park Binny’s single rack. Pours clear copper with thick white head. Aroma is cinnamon, ginger, bread, caramel, and toasted malts. Flavor is spicy with bready malts, caramel, toasted malts, cinnamon, ginger, and some other spices. Medium mouthfeel. Finishes spicy and with some candied sugars. Decent ale.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with an orange-ish tint to it. Small white head. Aroma of dark malts, caramel. Flavor is mostly malt with a small amount of spice and a slightly bitter finish. Not bad.
