This keg has a maltier and more pronounced blend of spices than the previous keg draft I had last week. This keg would meld the flavors in another month but a nice beer. williamherbert (475), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 21, 2009 Aroma is sour cherry with a grainy husk of barley. Mild cinnamon and white wine. I’m not in love; it’s a little too saccharine.
The appearance is tons of fizzy carbonation. Clear, bright orange. Bubbles like ginger ale.
The flavor is more cherry sweetness. A little spicy balance. Some forest-like hops. A lot better as it warms.
The palate is fizzy but milky smooth. A sweetish winter ale. A bit too saccharine for me. CelticBrew (713), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 21, 2009 Compliments of Matty, pours a light copper color with a decent head and it laced ok. The aroma was of ginger, lots of it. The flavour was ginger, then cinnamon, and some sort of caramel malts underneath. Ginger and cinnamon slap, too much.... doboy (206), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA

Not offensive, well balanced. great Winter beer to share ONE with friends. msante79 (849), Orland Hills, Illinois, USA
