Not your normal Brown Ale, more Hoppy than Malty. Citrus, and A little Nutty finish, Pours An Amber Brown color,a lasting head, Not 1 of my favorites, but I will buy again.

Chesnut color. Sticky head with nice lacing. Aroma is primarily of citrusy hops and a little touch of roast malt. Balanced flavors. Malt flavors are a bit nutty and roasty while the hops are leaning a little to the piney side. Hop flavors echo on the finish. This is perfect for sitting outside on Market St. on a fall evening. Cheers!

On tap: Very hoppy aroma. Pours a dark amber with a nice off-white head. Great lacing. Great grapefruit hoppy flavor with some nuttiness and roastiness. Much hoppier than I would expect in a brown ale. Moderate hop aftertaste.

Possibly the worst beer I've ever had. Tasted and smelled reminiscent of spoiling milk. I could not drink it fast enough to get it out of my mind. Terrible. Mildy creamy in texture. Decent brown color with a okay head. I can only hope that they do not make any more of this crap so no one else has to experience this horror.

Good beer. Great companion to a Browns game - a very handy accomplice to the whole football game persona. Fairly malty, it combines well with stadium food (hot dogs, etc.).

Okay I am a huge Brown’s fan, so obviously I am a bit of a Homer on this one, but what a great beer. I’m sorry to hear it is technically no longer availible as i just got some here a few weeks ago. It speaks of a tired city that is waking up. The beer is a bit sleepy, but knows it will do well in the long run. An underdog beer you can count on.

No longer available since the NFL wants licensing royalties from the name. Warm, sweet flavor.
