Pours a clear amber-red, with a thin head, leaving some faint lacing behind. The aroma is very sweet, but that is not reflected in the beer itself. Nothing in the taste really stands out to me, but overall it is a good solid beer. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 6, 2006 Not a bad irish ale, but not that great either. The pour was a reddish-brown color with an off-white head. The aroma was hoppy and somewhat floral. The taste is definitely bitter, with a bitter finish. I was hoping for more of a malt presence, but very little was detected."
