The aroma was sweet, malty, a little grassy. The flavor was malty, toasty, bready, a little grassy, a good malt presence, a bit earthy. The mouthfeel was surprisingly satisfying, a full malty mouthfeel and a nice refreshing carbonation. Finishes toasty and sweet.

Pours a deep amber red color with a foamy 1-finger head. Has a lot of sweet toffee and a bit of fruit in the aroma. Some alcohol as well. The nose is really earthy, with bready malts abound. Medium bodied offering lots of caramel, sweet dough, sublte cocoa and dirty straw. Nice full malty flavor with a somewhat bitter finish. Not bad, a nice change of pace from the more complex flavored beers.
