Smells malty sweet and a hint of floral/piney hops. Tastes crisp, earthy, bitter, malty almost corn/grainy. Smooth. Pretty good. Each drink leaves you wanting another. gets better as it warms as it brings out more of the hop flavor which is what im fond of. GRM (1283), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 19, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a deep golden/copper color with a 2 inch head. Aroma is perfectly balanced between malt and hop. Can’t really pick out the dominant note there. Flavor is malty up front, then the hops show up, then the malt returns for the finish. Very well balanced session beer, good for summer. Also the perfect crossover beer for your friends who haven’t quite made the leap to craft yet. Could pass as a macro lager on appearance, but flavor is anything but. unclemattie (2437), Georgia, USA
