Commercial Description:
This smooth lager strikes a delicate balance between malt and hops in the aroma, palate, finish and body. It has more body and less hops than a Pilsner, and less malt and more hops than a Munich style lager. 30 IBU.

From a 12 ounce bottle - Pours a clear pale yellow with a tad of red. Below average carbonation, and only slight lacing. The aroma is dominated sweet malts and mild piney hops. First sip is surprisingly mild but balanced with not much else going on. A light malt backbone is welcomed. Some hoppy bitterness is present but on a whole this is only fair.

Getting my notebook online. Bottle. A rich gold amber. Smells malty sweet. Sweet malt tastes with fruity hints and a bitter finish.

i picked up 2 bottles of this for 69 cents each @ The Liquor Depot in Monee. clear copper color, fluffy white head, slightly lacy. nose of bread, grain, grass. sure there is a corn sweetness, but there is also a hoppy bitterness there, in good balance. slightly bitter hoppy finish. very enjoyable.

Bottle. Another solid brew from Great Lakes. Clear gold body, small white head with tight tiny bubbles. Leaves some lacing on the glass! On the nose, fruity, matly, a little grass, and a bread. Crisp and bitter finish. Malty with some grass notes in the flavor. Very smooth drinking, good carb.
