The aroma has a smooth maltiness to it that is mimicked in the taste. Has a light-medium body, is well balanced, and does not end bitter; maybe even a bit watery but in a good way. This was one of the smoothest brews I’ve had. I could drink this all night an never get bored with it, nor feel bloated. beersnobTom (2), Ohio, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 3, 2007 A perfect compliment to my "gourmet pizza" at a Toledo area restaurant called Capers bar and grill. If you live nearby, it’s a great spot. It’s great to be able to choose a local beer on tap besides the usual macro-brewery beers. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 25, 2007 An aroma of light coren. No hard smelll of wet paper int this one. An almost orange pour that clings to the glass almost like thin honey. a flavor of sweet malt and a nice bitter that is short lived but easy to revive for a minute or tow. A surprising palate that is almost chewy. Carbonation is just a little off.. A surprising all round good beer. I wasn’t expecting this much. MrBeer (276), Erie, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2007 I almost thought this was going to be like any other American Lager at first taste, but it balances out nicely and has a touch of hops. Not bad. Quite refreshing. Very sessionable. Dickinsonbeer (3494), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 23, 2007 GLBC. Pours a nice ligiht to medium gold and a fluffy sticky pure white head with nice lacing. Aroma is nice and bready- malty, lightly herbal and noble hops. Bready doughy flavor with tons of nice fresh pils malt, but cut by the hop bitterness, and slight mineral character- along with a characteristic slight artificial sweetness of many glbc beers. Pretty damn good though. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 21, 2007 Pours gold, it has a nice hop malt balance all the way through. The finish is hoppier then a real helles from Germany though. Poperinge (359), Cowtown, Alberta, Canada
