Commercial Description:
This smooth lager strikes a delicate balance between malt and hops in the aroma, palate, finish and body. It has more body and less hops than a Pilsner, and less malt and more hops than a Munich style lager. 30 IBU.

My second beer of this type and what a difference. Tastes like a pale lager with some moderate carbonation. What sets this apart is the strong hop backbone this beer has. Interesting.

12 oz bottle: A clear golden pour with a large sized white head that lingers. Aroma is a slight hop aroma with a little bit a spiciness. Flavor is good for a lager of this type, crisp, clean, and nice and spicy. Palate is clean and short. Overall, It’s pretty good stuff. Not my favorite style but hell I can appreciate a well crafted beer of any style. Cheers!

12 oz bottle. Clear orange color with a white head that laced the glass. Aroma is a mix of molasses, white bread, and a hint of apple. Medium bodied with plenty of bready malt, a touch of caramel, and sprucy hop flavors. Sweet up front, but finishes with subtle acidity.

Sparkling dark gold pour with a thick, rocky white head that leaves a web of sticky lacing. Nice bubble action as well - looks elegant in my new Pilseners glasses that I got as a Christmas present. Aroma is fresh and clean with hints of fresh lake water, sweet caramel and a smidgen of nuttiness. Flavor is reminiscent of sweet butter with some essence of cake mix, wisps of honey with a nutty finish. Solidly thick mouthfeel for the style. Overall, a very solid Helles. Thanks to Aurelius for hauling this back from Ohio.
