Commercial Description:
This smooth lager strikes a delicate balance between malt and hops in the aroma, palate, finish and body. It has more body and less hops than a Pilsner, and less malt and more hops than a Munich style lager. 30 IBU.

12 ounce bottle from GrbDg. Pours crystal clear amber with just a bit of white head. Stong noble hops aroma with a sturdy Vienna malt presents. Really quite bitter, with a pleasant toasted sweetness up front. Finish is dry and crisp. I never thought I’d want to live in Cleveland.

A good golden lager, I agree with larryg, it does seem very german. Golden color as was expected, tastes like a very balanced blend of hops and malt. A good beer, but Great Lakes has better offerings

really like this golden lager. seems very german, like the bitburger i had in munich a few years back. great color and good foam. perfect balance of hops, malt & yeast. american beer at its finest. its not the best beer ive ever had but for its style its really good. went really well with the fish fry i had too.

Golden color, good-sized head. Sweet flaver for a lager. Also more body than most lagers. Perfect lager for those who aren’t crazy about lagers!

Excellent beer. Pours a strong yellow orange with a nice lacing ring. Aroma is strong hops and fresh water. Flavor very refreshing, with a great balanced hop malt flavor.

(draft @ The Aspinwall Grille - Aspinwall, PA) Clear gold in color with a thick and lasting white head. Aroma is nice and bitter with some floral hops and a touch of cookie dough. Flavor is very bitter and crisp at the beginning with a smooth and hoppy middle and a dry and bitter floral hop finish. Finishes like a really nice pils.

Nice. Pleasant. Crisp. Very carbonated. Doughy for being relatively light, but has a complex almost browned pizza crust finish. Great.
