Aroma is lotsa bready malts with a hint of grassy hops. Hints of fruit, toast, and caramel. Good mouthfeel, light sweetness. Probably the best I’ve had for the style. Excellent for what it is. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA

The taste is better than the aroma - pretty mellow and fairly sweet. Very easy to drink and could be refreshing on a hot day. Thanks BuckeyeBoy for bringing this back from Ohio! | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2006 bottle - Pours golden with a moderate head. The aroma is mild and has a little hops in it. The is lightly malty with a good, moderately strong hops presence. The finish is crisp and smooth with a touch of lingering hops. It goes down easy, but is flavorful and not too thin. Great Lakes has made a very good session brew. sandwichpants (117), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2006 As the description says, this is a sorta middle of the road, as far as hop to malt balance goes, lager. It’s quite well made, being crisp and clean without being boring, but it doesn’t knock my socks off for a lager, but that’s probably more just my taste (Prima Pils tends to impress me as a lager, but that’s just my taste). If you’re looking for a nice bottom fermented beer, and this is around, consider yourself lucky!.
