Dry hay and a light carmal malt. I enjoy my beer with more hops. This one doesn’t excite my tastes much. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Pours clear golden / amber with a white frothy head. Aroma is crisp, yet creamy, lightly roasted malt. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with some richness and medium carbonation. Starts with rich malts with a small amount of caramel and a bit of spiciness. The spice picks up as it goes along and merges with the dry hoppiness of the finish. The malt becomes a dry caramel as it goes along. A nice beer. bu11zeye (5579), Frisco, Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 16, 2006 Gorgeous golden hue. Medium thickness. Nicely carbonated. This is what I imagine a good midwest brew to be. Full flavored with just a touch of bitterness and aftertaste. This is a really nice beer. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 14, 2006 Pours out a dark yellow color with a nice little hop smell. Taste is smooth, rich, and typical of the style. Not bad at all, not something to cellar though. AustinMilbarge (681), Denver, Colorado, USA
