Commercial Description:
This smooth lager strikes a delicate balance between malt and hops in the aroma, palate, finish and body. It has more body and less hops than a Pilsner, and less malt and more hops than a Munich style lager. 30 IBU.

Appearance: clear copper, fine off white head
Aroma: dry and earthy aroma with a hint of caramel sweetness

(draft, 5/27/06) Clear apple juice body topped by a white head. Aroma is medium sweet, peach. Taste is medium sweet, peach, some earthy, light spice. Light-medium body, light stickiness. (6/3/8/4/15)

(12oz bottle, 1/24/05) Clear amber body with white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, bread, caramel, apple. Taste is moderately sweet, bread, some apple, light bitterness (grassy/earthy). Light-medium body, some crispness. I was not sure how to rate this -- it seems to have all the characteristics of a very good brew, but for some reason it did not much appeal to me. (6/3/6/3/12)

12oz bottle-pours a foamy disappearing off white head and gold color. Aroma is musty, somewhat sweet medium malt. Taste is musty, somewhat sweet medium malt, secondary earthy/spicy hops. OK carbonation. Thanks E Notch for bringing this one back.
