Commercial Description:
This smooth lager strikes a delicate balance between malt and hops in the aroma, palate, finish and body. It has more body and less hops than a Pilsner, and less malt and more hops than a Munich style lager. 30 IBU.

12 oz bottle. Pours a beautiful dark golden with some ruby glow and a thick frothy off white head. Aroma is a nice blend of sweet bread and light fruits, both working in harmony. A little bit of cereal and just a hint of hay. Flavor starts with a sweet doughy character but picks up a light crisp bitterness fairly quick. Toffee and a toasted nut flavor becomes apparent before a crisp and slightly dry finish. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Really nice dortmunder, well balanced and very refreshing.

Light amber body with a decent, white head. Interesting lacing. The aroma is quite bready, yeasty even. Good carbonation, and the general mouth-feel is about medium in weight with the malt sweetness overpowering the hop finish. Overall, this is a very nice beer, and I have a feeling it would pair nicely with a number of different foods.

aroma is lightly floral hops and slightly unattractive grainy malt bill. body is perfectly translucent bordering on orange. flavor is nicely toasted malt that makes no reference to the aroma with a slightly bitter end that provides excellent balance. palate is medium with a slight towards wet.

On draft in Cleveland, OH. Pours light amber with decent helping of head that quickly dissipates. First time trying this style. Flavor is sweet and floral with grass. Has a funny taste that I’ve noticed with most Great Lakes beers, I think it is the water they use (the crystal clear water of Lake Erie?).

Bottle courtesy of markwise. Pours a clear amber to copper color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of hay, grass, honey, light floral esters. Flavor is about the same. Light body with a light floral hop finish.

Amber pour from a 12 oz bottle. One fat finger of head that soon dissapates. Not much to the aroma, though what is there is clean and fresh. Very tasty - flavor dominated by malt but punctuated with decent hoppiness that smacks the back of the tongue. Satisfying mouthfeel with active carbonation. Good stuff!

Pours copper to amber color... Aroma is sweet and malty, nothing hoppy here. Flavor is carmelly with some biscuit and sweet malt. Nice medium light mouthfeel. Just enough hopping to provide some balance.
