RATING 600. (12 oz. bottle served in pint glass on Nov. 10, 2008- 33 years to the day she sank in Lake Superior) First off, thank you for trading this to me RCL, and for not putting me on about the "rarity" of it unlike someone else here that I tried to get it from originally. Again, thank you RCL. Poured blacker than that late autumn night about to being hit with the 3 sisters, a woven like 2 finger tan head formed and laced. Aroma of nicely roasted malts and dark chocolate. Hits the mouth with wide and rich body, malt covers the entire palate nicely, many chocolate notes everywhere, finish begs for another sip. A brew worthy of it’s name.

Pours a deep non-tranparent black/dark brown color with a thick tan head. The head disapates slowly after a minute or two. Smells of chocolate and roasted malts. Has a chocolate and coffee taste and is extremely drinkable. I wish I had more than just one bottle. 12 oz. bottle from world market Serving type: bottle, 11-13-2008

Bottle, courtesy Ughsmash! Pours translucent very dark brown with ruby lights and a thick and lacy tan head. Aroma of coffee, licorice and chocolate. Medium-light body and carbonation. Bitter-sweet chocolate taste with coffee, brown sugar and roasty malt. Dry espresso finish. Enjoyable.

Dark rich pour, with a creamy off white head. Good lacing on glass. Roasted coffee smell with a hint of carmel and chocolate. Flavor is complex and well balanced, with a nice bittersweetness to it. A well rounded porter.

Pours black, with tan head. My advice is to let is sit out of the fridge for five minutes before drinking as that seems to let more of the malts come through in the flavor
