12 oz. bottle. Flavor and aroma of bitter chocolate, coffee, and some smokiness. A touch of sweetness. Very silky smooth, straightforward for all those strong flavors. Mighty fine porter.

Pours a brownish black, with a a fluffy head that is off white. the aroma is coffee, caramel, and malt with nice lacing. Strong coffee flavor, and a mild hop at the finish, this is a good brew. would recommend

Courtesy of Sammy. It’s transparent black/brown with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruits, licorice and light sweetness. The flavour has sweetness and a light dry and roasted bitterness, notes of chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, dark fruits, slightly bitter licorice and the finish is dry. It’s nice and uncomplicated.

Pours a dark brown/black that shows some light. One finger frothy tan head. The nose is malty, earthy bready malts, coffee, sweet, molasses, . The flavor is bitter coffee, bakers chocolate, waxy hop bitterness, molasses, rich. The palate is bitter and roasty. Very tasty and rich porter.

Very similar to Bell’s Porter but this brew has a creamier mouthfeel and a more bitter finish and because of that, I like it better.

Draft @ Capones: Poured a dark dark brown with not much head. The aroma was chocolate roasted malt. The flavor was chocolate, nutty, sweet and malty. Delicious! Overall and excellent Porter.
