Well, The best american beer. Tastes better all other porters, I don’t find anything wrong with it at all.

Deep brown, thick head. Light roasted flavor. Smooth, thin mouthfell. A decent porter.

Sampled at WBF in Duham - this beer came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Poured a dark reddish brown - almost black - color with a foamy tan head. Nice aroma of chocolate and a french roast coffee. Nice smooth taste of malt, chocolate, and dark coffee with a hint of licorice and bitterness. Perfect carbonation. Very solid beer that I will be very happy to see if/when they start distributing in NC.

From a bottle poured black with a fair amount of head. Nice sweet malty flavor with a lasting bitter coffe aftertaste.

Aroma of big roast burnt, some smoke, caramel and chocolate... Dark brown, clear... Flavor of chocolate, roasty, slightly smoky, and a touch dry in the finish, very good...

Bottle. Pours very dark with only a thin sheath of head. Transmits only a little light, looks reddish-purple in the light. Aroma is of chocolate and coffee, smells delicious!! A long, complex flavor. Take your first sip carefully and think about it for a good minute. Very smooth, pretty well balanced. This is a GREAT porter!
