Apr 6, 2007 Pours a dark brown with a foamy chocolately head. Smells of coffee with a hint of hops. Taste is somewhat lacking due to bittersweet taste and minimal hops.

Apr 4, 2007 Bottle courtesy of Grbdg (thanks!). Pours your standard black with sizeable tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, and nuts...very enticing, though for some reason it didn’t stick around all that long; it mellowed out quite a bit. Roasty flavor including chocolate and coffee. Finishes with a bitter coffee flavor. The mouthfeel is rather watery though, which was disappointing. Still, a pretty good porter and I wish it were more available to me.

Apr 1, 2007 Bottle sampled. Pours dark with a tan head. Aroma of roasted chocolate malts, hops, nuts, and sweetness. The flavor is sweet chocolate with some roast and nuts, and finishes with a hoppy bitterness.

Apr 1, 2007 Great beer. Should be called great beer brewing company. But I doubt that will happen. I know I live close to this brewery just don;t know where it is. Would love to visit. So far all the brews I’ve tried have been satisfactory.

Mar 29, 2007 Pours very dark with a light tan head that does not disapate quickly. Smells of a slight hint of chocolate but cannot smell the coffee. This is really quite smooth and not half bad for a porter

Mar 26, 2007 Aroma of roasted nutty malt, coffee, and chocolate. Pour is black with tan head. Flavors of coffee, roasted malt, vanilla, bitter-sweet chocolate, and hops. The only bad part about this brew is that it seems to have a rather watery weak body, but it has a great flavor.

Mar 24, 2007 lots of chocolate with some roasted malt and coffee flavor. the flavor and mouthfeel were both smooth, rounded out by hints of vanilla extract and lots o malt. yum. note of warning though: don’t use this beer to play beer pong. it’s only good in theory.

Mar 24, 2007 12 oz bottle my friend Liz’s mom drove from ohio to cali. thanks to both of you. Pours black with a big 2 and a half finger fluffy tan head that is slowly fading. Aroma is roasty and malty with hints of choco coffee. The taste is robust and mellow and it is very nice and drinkable. Good every day porter, little thinner than I’d like but good.
