GABF 2007. A brown beer with a thin tan head - too light in color for a porter. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of chocolate and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of chocolate as well as lighter notes of roasted malt, leading to a dry bitter chocolaty finish. It has a nice body.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of sk8viking. Dark brown with a tint of red and a creamy, light brown head leaving some lacework. Lightly burned malts and a vague acidity in the aroma. Medium body with hard roasted malt accents and a fruity touch. Dry, malt bitter finish. 171107

Bottled. Black, small creamy head. Coffeeish, roasty aroma. Dry with soft mouthfeel and notes of licorice and a pleasantly bitter finish. Very elegant. Quality all the way through.

Bottle. [<a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=7 target=_new> Courtesy of Boutip]. Clear dark dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, coffee, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. (Malt bitter). Body is medium to light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. A bit borring and thin but okay beer. (080408)

Bottled. Dark amber/rubyish colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee and mild roast. Flavour is strong roast along with chocolate, coffee and some citrus. The citrus fruits comes at first, then turns dark chocolate and roast. Roast dominates the aftertaste. Pleasantly mixed, and very smooth to drink. Well done brew.
