Aroma is nice sweet toasted bread with a touch of fruity darker caramel malts. Flavor is sweet and toasted, a bit fruity with a super clean crisp finish. Not overly hoppy, just enough bitterness to clean the palate. Just plain well made and easy to drink. Shannon127 (15), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 24, 2008 Perfect color for style, nice head, good flavor. Much too hppy for a true Vienna Lager. The hops overpower the malt. Still a very good beer, just not great for the style. mixinnixon2000 (227), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 15, 2008 bottle. Aroma is nice and malty with some hops present near the finish. Notes of bread, malt, caramel. Sparkling red amber with an average sized off-white head that diminished but remained and left good lace. Flavor is bread, caramel, malt, and a little bitter on the finish. Palate is light bodied and lively carbonation. Quite nice actually. A good one. chicagodri (1041), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Mar 7, 2008 Thanks to Mike for this one. Dark amber color with a creamy beige head that doesn’t last long but leaves a thick ring at the edge of the glass. Aroma is light. Caramel malt mostly. Flavor has a velvety texture mingling with the heavy malt flavors, lightly balanced with hops.
