BeerandBlues2 (3201), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Feb 20, 2005 Thanks to slikwily for this one. Pours cloudy copper to an ambered brown with a small light brown rocky head. Sweet malted barley with sugary notes and a hoppy nose with vanilla hints. Warm and sweet creamy caramel flavor greets your tonue with the first draw and leaves you with a creamy hoppiness. Medium-bodied and creamy/fizzy palate. brewblackhole (1367), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Feb 20, 2005 Beautiful amber color, malty nose, pleasant enough malt taste, characteristic of this style, maybe a little fuller and sweeter than others unclebleen (620), California, USA Feb 18, 2005 i really liked this beer. amber color with a nice malty nose. flavor is slightly earthy, malty sweetness. body is nice and smooth. awaller05 (300), Sharon, Wisconsin, USA Feb 14, 2005 A Red lager that has a sweet smell and a hearty mouth feel of malt. I think this would be a great beer to entertain with. euserphriendly (163), Holland, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 13, 2005 Pleasant aroma of a good malty lager. This beer was all about the malt. Smooth drinking and refreshing all the way, as a lager should be. jackson220 (136), new lenox, Illinois, USA Feb 13, 2005 Great Lakes , what a wondelful Brewing co. This Great Deep amber lager has a very nice balance of malt and hops. alittle bitter, love that real nice refreshing finish. RAYBOY01 (1813), Chicago, Illinois, USA Feb 1, 2005 In a blind taste test I say no way this is a lager...too full flavored (roasted malt and hoppy bitterness) with a rich mouthfeel and nice crisp bitter finish. Pretty good. Quyntarious (32), Ohio, USA Jan 21, 2005 It has a tangy taste. Brilliant red color, bad atmittedly I picked it because of the color. Nutty complicated flavor. Fruity and nutty all at once. Thick palat feel in my opinion.
