Commercial Description:
Deep Amber red color, with a fragrant malt aroma. Flavorful notes of rich caramelized malt and noble hop flavors harmonize on the palate leading to a crisp clean finish. Named after one of Cleveland's most respected safety directors, who frequented the brewpub's bar during his tenure from 1935-1941 and, according to popular legend, was responsible for the bullet holes still evident today.

Ruby red in color with an off white head that is retained. The aroma is bready/malty. The flavor is sweet malt with light roastiness. Easy going drinker with quite good flavor.

Crimson colored with a small, off-white head. First whiff was a pleasant toasted malt aroma followed by some soft fruitiness. Smooth textured mouthfeel with moderate amount of carbonation. Earthiness in the finish.

From 12oz Bottle. Lovely, transparent pour of rich mahogany, topped with a well sustaining head of ivory foam. Pleasant malty aromas of light vanilla, maple, and almond skins waft from my glass, accompanied by a touch of herbal hops for balance. Crisply carbonated, light, refreshing mouthfeel. Mmm... very nice. Subtly layered malt flavors roll gracefully across the tongue. Some nice caramelized maply syrup melds nicely with some woody bark before finishing with a final smack of nutty, light chocolate brownies. Thanks, Tom!

Nice amber color with a minimal white head. The crystal malt and sugar experience is my favorite thing about this guy. Some bitter hops in the flavor but only slightly.

This is a fabulous amber lager. Noble hop aroma, With a bit of sweet malt. Doughy bread malt flavor with really nice caramel sweetness. Finish is dryish with nice hoppy kick. Excellent, thanks a ton Dogbrick for sending me this.

12oz bottle. Pours a dark amber, almost red with a 2 inch head. Sweet and roasty aroma. Flavor is sweet caramel with subtle hops on the finish. Not my favorite style, but very well put together.

I just bought a GL sampler for $6 what a deal, this was one of them. Carmel coloredd, translucent pours with a small tan head. Amora is carmel malt, sweet with a touch of saaz or hallertau. Flavor is bitter/sweet. Balanced finish. Very good beer

poured a thin looking amber color with a thin white head. Aroma was a mix of caramel and some floral hops. Flavor was a tad nutty with a mild sweet finish. kinda watery.
