Aroma is very malty along with the taste. Slight caramel that blends perfectly with the malt to give the impression you have just eaten a piece of bread right out of the oven. Along with Lakefronts Riverwest the best Vienna you can get in America. porterhouse (1154), Alna, Maine, USA

Nice, but a little timid for flavor...Pours clear burnt orange with a few fingers of orange-tinted cream-colored head. Nose of vanilla and caramel. Mouthfeel smooth but fairly prickly. Sloppy lacing. Tastes of toasted caramel maltiness with some bitterness in finish. A nice flavor but on the weaker side IMO. Would rank it below Brooklyn Lager or even Z Street Vienna. jcr (1153), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 27, 2006 Dark amber pour with light tan head that quickly disappears. Nose is filled with sweet malts, caramel, toast, flowery hops, grain. Very sweet and only a hint of bitterness at the finish. Moderately acidic. Moderately long finish, too. Medium to full body, watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Well put together. Very good. Goodgrief (1152), Middletown, Delaware, USA

Aroma was sweet malt as was the flavor. Flavor really improved as it warmed. Sweetness and bitter hop finish were nicely balanced. Nice. Cartoonkhaki (1150), Brantford, Ontario, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 15, 2009 12 oz. bottle from the Binnys Singles Rack (Orland Park, IL). I may have a cellar full of beers that need to be drank.. but somehow I can’t pass the Binny’s Singles Rack! Curses! Pours a beautiful sunstruck copper, dark notes, transparent, well carbonated, with moderate khaki head that subsides to a decent amount and laces. Aromas apparent straight from the pour with very nice toasty malt notes, biscuits, toffee, and bready notes without being too intimidating. Light hoppy bouquet, but malt dominant. Initial has a good body for the style, light but sustaining, having nice bready and biscuity malts balanced with a very formidible bitter noble hoppiness. Very well balanced, light, yet extremely flavorful as the malt sticks to the palate, and the hops balance and stick to the aftertaste. This is a wonderful sessioner! Cheers! gws57 (1137), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA

Very nice.
