Oct 8, 2005 Deep clear amber with a nice lasting head. Predominate malt aroma and flavor with notes of caramel. Delicately hopped. Well balanced and enjoyable.

May 14, 2008 Bottle courtesy of mreusch. Best by 03/22/08. Pours a clear, dark copper with a finger of creamy, beige head. The nose is a fairly straightforward blend of bready malt and lightly spicy/earthy hops. Medium-bodied and slick with creamy carbonation and a toasty, bitter finish. Toasted caramel malt with a solid noble-hopped backing; nicely balanced. Even past its "best by" date, this beer is well deserving of its status as the highest rated Vienna on this site. The next time I get the opportunity to buy more of this, I won’t hesitate to do so. Thanks again for this bottle, Matt!

Sep 2, 2001 Smelled and looked great but just wasnt my cup of tea. Aftertaste just didnt seem right at all to me. Started off ok though but i just didnt like that aftertaste.

Nov 22, 2002 Great color, light aroma, nice head. This is a great lager, hands down. The balance of flavor is awsome. I love the nice bitter after taste also. Wonderful beer!

Sep 20, 2007 Updated: Jun 16, 2008a reasonable enough vienna, nice and malty lager with plenty of character. I think what I like about this beer is that it is quite original while maintaining it’s old school roots. nice.

Jan 19, 2005 Pours a cloudy amber hue, with a small halo of a slight off-white head. Aromas of roasted malts, honey, a hint of caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied wiith flavots of caramel, grain, caramel, and a little bit of roasted nuts. Very nice finish....wow, I am not the biggest vienna fan, not to mention lager fan, but this is very tasty.
