| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 29, 2004 Updated: Sep 9, 2004Beautiful dark amber with a LOT of carbonation (up the whole glass, and stayed that way). Smells decent, not great. Taste is a bit on the sweet side, but not TOO much. Mouthfeel was a bit too heavy for my liking, making me wonder just how many I could have before I felt bloated (two). It's a drinkable beer, but not nearly as drinkable as some of the others in the Great Lakes line. ravidesai (915), Bombay, India

Caramel and toffee throughout. Perfect malt/hop interplay with a tight slightly bitter dry finish. Yum danielcurtis81 (909), San Diego, California, USA

Aroma is potently malty, rich with some evident hop notes. Some spicy hops on the tongue, bready malt and a nice lingering bitteness. Quite good for a Vienna! Full bodied. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
