Poured a clear amber with an enormous yellow head that has awesome retention and leaves excellent lacing. Spicy rye aroma with some strawberries, All-Bran cereal, cream of wheat, caramel malt, cornbread, brown sugar....very earthy. Taste is excellent: massive hop backbone with rye toast, earthiness, buttered biscuit. A killer session beer! LIke drinking spiked brown sugar cream of wheat. beervana (781), Libertyville, Illinois, USA

Bottle states to enjoy before 3/21/06. Clear amber ale having a small white head. No discernable carbonation. Caramel/sweet malt aromas. Medium bodied that starts with light malt sweetness and fruity/caramel flavors. Finishes dry with light hop bitterness. Well-balanced. A very enjoyable amber ale. Taste is almost pure sweet malt, maybe a hint of toffee or caramel. Very drinkable! hombrepalo (777), Chicago, Illinois, USA
