Foamy head that dissipates quickly, but with nice lacing. Great brown red color. Good flavor with roasted hops, touch of caramel and nice hops in the finish. Much better than expected.

(bottle from OSLO) Pours out dark amber with a thin white head that quickly subsides. The aroma is nice and toasty initially, with scents of light caramel and peanut brittle. As this warms a vegetal aroma arises, and lends a stir-fried pea pod quality to the aroma. The taste was also quite toasty and salty, which reminded me of roasted peanuts. There is a light sweetness in the beginning as well. The finish is fairly dry and lightly bitter with a medium mouthfeel and smooth carbonation. A simple, yet easily approachable and downright drinkable beer. Thanks Al!

Deep amber colored body with a perfectly proportioned beige head made this a very attractive looking beer. The beer was well carbonated, but not fizzy. Aromatically clean and unobtrusive, the beer had a malty, floral, sweetish smell. The taste was also pleasant, with a toffee like sweetness, spicy hops, and a touch of mandarin orange sourness. There was not much hop bitterness, but the well attenuated beer did not suffer much because of it. Very clean and easy drinking beer with a simple but flawless construction typical of classic German styles.

Amber color w/ tan head. Aroma is slightly malty, with that typical lager bite ia the finish. Fla vor is smooth slightly -sweet a touch of bitterness in the finish Palate is a little thin

12 oz bottle: Three words to describe Great Lakes Brewing "Consistently good beers" not all of them knock it out of the park, but a lot of them are damn good. Pours a clear amber color with a small sized carbonated tan head that lingers. Aroma is caramel, roasty notes, almost a grainy fresh sweet corn note (not the corn note for Bud and other) candy, and sweet. Taste is really nice rich caramel notes, nice lightly burnt notes, malt characteristic is very present. Palate is nicely carbonated, somewhat sweet on the lips, and tongue coating. Overall, This is darn good Vienna, Nice stuff.

Not their best work, but a pretty solid beer. Good balance of malts and decent hopping for an old-school Vienna. Dark chocolate notes and a hint of woody dried fruit. Bit flat in the body and not much in the way of aromatics. Very fresh-tasting.

Nice copper color with a nice head. Malty sweet smell emanates from the beer.Great sweet malty taste with slight alcohol and hops flavors. Great carbonation to add to the mouth feel.

Poured a bronze gold but ended up a amber in the glass, a few bubbles with some lacing, fragrances of sweet and malt, syrup scents, very little hop aroma, taste of malt, little hop bite, sweet in the mouth, touch of caramel on the tongue.
