This one got sort of lost in the bunch at the great lakes samplefest. Got to see the bullet holes on the tour by the by... anyway, the beer pours a nice dark amber. Spicy raisin hops and dark fruit on the palate. Moderately thorough roasted malts and some lighter dry malts thrown in. A smooth brew that I will need to redrink. An above average beer but not one I truly recommend. The commercial description is fairly accurate (not as aromatic as they claim). yesyouam (611), Fairport, New York, USA

It has a very fresh, malty aroma with maybe a bit of citrus. It has a medium-light body with a dry finish. It’s a mellow flavor that’s a touch sweet, with a slightly fruity bitterness. Nice frothy inch of head forms on the pour. Smell is all malt and some sweetness. Very metallic/off flavor in the taste. Gets a bit cloying as well. First beer I’ve had from Great Lakes that has been subpar. Hoss (602), Florida, USA

Hops present at end; very dry. Slightly stale sample, doesn't measure up to the other beers I've had from Great Lakes. Lots of carbonation. Petrucci914 (601), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

Up front it tastes malty, then gets a little bitter, and finishes off slightly nutty. Thaichile (599), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA

Some bitterness on the palate, but also peach and apples and some sweetness. Very smooth and balanced. Thanks Beervana.
