Commercial Description:
Deep Amber red color, with a fragrant malt aroma. Flavorful notes of rich caramelized malt and noble hop flavors harmonize on the palate leading to a crisp clean finish. Named after one of Cleveland's most respected safety directors, who frequented the brewpub's bar during his tenure from 1935-1941 and, according to popular legend, was responsible for the bullet holes still evident today.

Nice reddish amber color with minimal head, no lacing, medium-bodied. Aroma hints of caramel, ripe pears, dates, and yes, eiswein. Very nice. Beautifully balanced between tart and sweet, a malty presence followed by a hoppy twang. Creamy mouthfeel and clean, dry finish. Very well made, highly recommended.

Huge light tan head. Clear dark amber. Sweet caramel aroma. Flavor moderatley sweet with the taste of caramel. Finish is mostly malt with a light bitter background to balance it out. Light to medium bodied.

Reddish-amber pour with a thin beige head. Very nice malty aroma, with some toffee, caramel, and lighter spices noted. Mouthfeel was very smooth, with flavors of bread, caramel, and brown sugar. Finish was of roasted malts and subtle hops. Very good brew, especially for the style! Would make a fine session beer.

Bottle (12oz). Poured bright clear ruby-mahogany with a smallish diminishing head. Aroma of gentle fruity yeast, mild hops, sweetish light roast malt. Taste is much the same, starts a bit sweet and finishes slightly hop-bitter. Mouthfeel is slightly watery, sory of flat, average body for the style I guess. Very nice vienna.

Nice presenting pale ruby brew. Decent creamy head. Light slightly woody aroma, sweet with noticeable alcohol at the finish. Medium bodied, sweet malts with off raw cabbage like aftertaste. Light bitter finish.

Dark Amber color, medium head. Malty aroma. A full-bodied Vienna Lager. Big malty flavors, caramel and slightly nutty. Nice hop bite. Well balanced. Great tasting beer. Smooth taste. Finish is clean and slightly dry. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Thanks to jcalabre for the beer.
