Apr 28, 2007 Nicely done! Reddish amber color, one finger khaki head, foaming and lasting. Somewhaqt mild aroma, but hints at a toffee like sweetness, a deep earthiness, and some green noble hop. Flavor exquisitely balanced, with a full rounded bready sweetness and a lightly spicy and floral hop character that leads to a medium bitter finish. Clean and well brewed.

Nov 17, 2003 Dark reddish brown appearance. Distinctively malty, fruity caramel and toffee aroma. Sweet malts, caramel flavor, nice creaminess and well rounded feel. One of the best Vienna's I've tasted. I'll drink to Elliott Ness on this one.

Oct 3, 2001 Nice carmael malt flavor with some hops thrown in. Finishes smooth . Great lakes sure know what they’re doing.

Jul 25, 2002 THis has got to be one of their best. No other Vienna style that I’ve had even comes close. An almost chunky caramel malt with a nice thick-hop flavor (i’ve never before referred to hops as ’thick’, but it seems to fit here.) All your Vienna’s should be compared to this!

Sep 13, 2002 The third Great Lakes offering that I’ve tried, and they haven’t failed to impress. Imagine if someone told you twenty years ago that you could get great beer from Cleveland.

May 6, 2003 Foamy head that dissipates quickly, but with nice lacing. Great brown red color. Good flavor with roasted hops, touch of caramel and nice hops in the finish. Much better than expected.
