Oct 20, 2003 Darker amber/brown. No head. Smells like sweet yeast, maybe a little cinnamon, hops, caramel. Tastes good. Burst of bitterness and then calms right down. Sweet burnt marshmallow flavor. Dries out quickly. Nice beer from Cleveland.

Feb 20, 2005 Thanks to slikwily for this one. Pours cloudy copper to an ambered brown with a small light brown rocky head. Sweet malted barley with sugary notes and a hoppy nose with vanilla hints. Warm and sweet creamy caramel flavor greets your tonue with the first draw and leaves you with a creamy hoppiness. Medium-bodied and creamy/fizzy palate.

Apr 30, 2004 Updated: May 31, 2006It has ben over 2 years nice I have had this got in in a trade with LeopoldStoch. poured a nice dark amber, with a light tan head that left some lacing.aroma brown sugar, malts a little sourness. flavor a nice sweet malt with a caramel kick to it followed by a touch of hops. just going to tweek the rating just a bit.4/30/04amber with nice lasting head nice copper color nice smooth malty with a little fruit with a touch of bitterness . GOOD BEER

Sep 6, 2004 Pours dark amber with a tannish head. Strong malt aroma. Taste is sweet malt and very rich. Caramel aftertones. This beer is very high in flavor. Well done.

Jul 22, 2008 The thanks go out to Crizay tonight! Pours reddish burnt orange with an off-white head, more substantial than German counterparts, but still dissipating. Aroma of toast, toffee, slight dark fruit, light hazelnut. Hops are faint, but fruity on the nose. Well blended aroma. Sweet caramel taste, some toffee, light bread crust and earthy dirtlike hop flavor. Finishes with a leafy hop taste, toast, bark, with some lingering caramel flavor intermingling with the earthy bitterness. Light mouthfeel, but full flavors make it seem better. Medium carbonation. This is very good, what more could you want from a Vienna?

Nov 16, 2004 Pours a dark "merlot" color. With a small white fluffy head. Aroma of light malt and spice. Flavor is deep and rich, malt. Alcohol and spicy hops also present. Palate is very full. A very nice brew!
