Commercial Description:
Deep Amber red color, with a fragrant malt aroma. Flavorful notes of rich caramelized malt and noble hop flavors harmonize on the palate leading to a crisp clean finish. Named after one of Cleveland's most respected safety directors, who frequented the brewpub's bar during his tenure from 1935-1941 and, according to popular legend, was responsible for the bullet holes still evident today.

Pure and professional. Untouchable. Nutty and fruity. Fairly intense and difficult to describe. Sweet, but complemented with alcohol well. Overall, quite the interesting and well-made brew.

Ruby pour with a creamy head.Sweet malty nose. Nice creamy palate that is very light on the tongue. Malt seems to be the name of the game with just a little hop bite at the end. Very nice beer. Thanks to hopsrus for this one.

Great looking beer! It is a cool orange color with a tan head. There is a ton of malt in the aroma and in the taste. Very sweet with a nice little bitter bite that stays around. There is also a lot of dark fruit that adds a nice complexity. Some caramel hints can be found as well. Great beer!

Another in the line of "what the hell happened to my damn notes??" - that I can fairly clearly remember it attests to the quality of this fine brew. Superb roasty, toasty malt and excellent accompaniment in the bitterness. Me want more.

Nice amber color and slight aroma to it. Light head that doesn’t hold very well. Nice taste to it, lighter and slightly tangy. Prefer this to Bell’s

Lots of sweetcaramel malt go along with some floaral hops from this rich copper coloured beer. Nice malty toffee flavours with a good medium mouthfeel and lingering finish. Solid.
