Nov 23, 2001 Pure and professional. Untouchable. Nutty and fruity. Fairly intense and difficult to describe. Sweet, but complemented with alcohol well. Overall, quite the interesting and well-made brew.

Oct 12, 2002 Ruby pour with a creamy head.Sweet malty nose. Nice creamy palate that is very light on the tongue. Malt seems to be the name of the game with just a little hop bite at the end. Very nice beer. Thanks to hopsrus for this one.

Sep 4, 2006 Great looking beer! It is a cool orange color with a tan head. There is a ton of malt in the aroma and in the taste. Very sweet with a nice little bitter bite that stays around. There is also a lot of dark fruit that adds a nice complexity. Some caramel hints can be found as well. Great beer!

Jun 7, 2004 Another in the line of "what the hell happened to my damn notes??" - that I can fairly clearly remember it attests to the quality of this fine brew. Superb roasty, toasty malt and excellent accompaniment in the bitterness. Me want more.

Apr 2, 2005 Lots of sweetcaramel malt go along with some floaral hops from this rich copper coloured beer. Nice malty toffee flavours with a good medium mouthfeel and lingering finish. Solid.

Jan 19, 2008 Updated: Aug 29, 2008Pours nice clear amber color, with beigeish head. Aroma is excellent, very malty, mostly caramel with some roastiness at the finish. Flavor is also very good, sweet malts start off, with a bready finish, very well balanced. A great beer in a style that is usually disappointing.
