If I were to describe this beer in two words they would have to be "fruity malt" then I’d add in words like carmel and hops, shortly after I’d add the question "Hey, can I get another?". The hops overpower the malt. Still a very good beer, just not great for the style. unclebleen (620), California, USA

Pretty good. can8ianben (908), Pasadena, California, USA

Pours a deep amber color with a small, quickly fading white head. Aroma is pretty standard lager, though pleasant. Honey, slightly toasted malts, a tad sweet, grainy. Crisp, sweet, carmel taste. Smooth and light bodied. Very clean yet still flavorful. I’m not a big lager guy but Great Lakes certainly makes some of the best in the country. travita (1952), Frisco, Texas, USA
