Aug 3, 2003 Nice Aroma, Nice color, Great taste. I ordered a Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold, but somehow ended up getting this instead. Decided it wasn't worth complaining about & I'm glad I didn't.

Jan 19, 2005 Pours a cloudy amber hue, with a small halo of a slight off-white head. Aromas of roasted malts, honey, a hint of caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied wiith flavots of caramel, grain, caramel, and a little bit of roasted nuts. Very nice finish....wow, I am not the biggest vienna fan, not to mention lager fan, but this is very tasty.

Jul 16, 2006 Deep copper pour with a thin whit-sh head. NIce Malty Aromoa. Nice malty falvor, maybe some fruit. Definatly has a bitter bite to it. Good Beer, easy to drink.

Oct 2, 2008 Draught @ Cole’s. Clear amber with thick off-white head. Bright hoppy aroma over a bready body. Quaffable with medium carbonation. Nice bready character. Diggin it.

Jan 4, 2009 From bottle... poured amber with small white head. It was sparkling too. Aroma was nutty with some hops. Somewhat sweet flavor with slightly bitter ending. Not great, but nice.

Mar 30, 2008 Very good. I think it’s nice to find a lager with character, and this is exactly that. It’s aroma is present with some hoppy notes. It’s appearance was a bit flat, but rather tempting still with its dark amber. It’s flavor a bit malty, a bit hoppy. It’s palate is exceptionally crisp and clean. Solid stuff.

Sep 10, 2009 Pours a deep dark red amber with a off white head with a red hue. Aromas of burnt hops and malts like caramel. Flavor is a little bready with undertones of caramel and crisp hops with a sort of earthy overtone like it was aged or barreled. Clean finish. For some reason when I drink this, its like I’m drinking an "old school" kinda beer.
