Bottle. Aroma is rich fruity malt with clove notes and a mild spiciness. Green apple tartness. Perfectly clear red hued amber with a thin whispy off-white head that leaves no lasting lacing. Flavor is full and rich with sweet malt evident and faint clove character. Finishes with a hint of drness and a touch spicy. A bit oil in the mouth, pleasant lingering dryness.

Bottle from Archer Liquors. Pours a very reddish amber with a large, bubbly beige/tan head. Lots of cooked stone fruit in the aroma. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor has dark fruits and banana. Mixed spice notes. Really quite pleasant. Seems mild after Oat Goop, but it’s very flavorful. Finishes a bit malty, but the banana and spice persist. Good stuff. Seems like it would be good for breakfast.

Nice banana and wheat notes with sweet malts and refreshing fruits. Dark fruits mix with the syrupy sweetness making it quite a meal of a beer. Solid.

beautiful cherry red coloring with no head, nose is alcohol, wheat wine flavors, sweet and syrupy yet finishing dry, some mild wheaty tartness, a bit much in terms of alcohol presence in the flavor, but a very enjoyable ale just the same, tastes more like a barley wine than other weizenbocks i’ve had

A weizenbock shouldn’t be this NOT cloudy.I mean, its a bit hazed, but a weizenbock should have some swampy wheat remenance, no? ...and this does not! Then again, we don’t rate by style here, and, thus...I guess I can’t rate by style, even when rating appearance, which makes no sense since appearance is 100% dependant on style. That being said, if styles didn’t exist, id say it still looked inviting, slightly hazed gemstone shiney amber, a halo of light tan, then a very small tropical island of bubbles in the middle. The nose was wheaty I guess but weizenbock thickness and meatiness level, fuck no. Sublte oats and orange peel is what I get. Clean, softly wheaty...a touch of softly grilled orange...and drinkable..a weizenbock? I don’t really see it, but thanks for pretending...I guess I can’t really think of what else id call it, but I prefer my weizenboccks a bit chunkier.

Bottled (thank you for finally bottling this!). Poured hazy reddish-orange with a fine cap of off-white head.. just lovely. The aroma picked up darker fruits, toasty bananas, and a pinch of honey with accents spicy wheat and cloves.. sticky-sweet, warm overall impression. The flavor used the alcohol warmth to amplify peppery and clovey character.. plums, caramel, and bready support at the core.. sweet, fruity finish with a spicy kick. Medium-bodied with ideal moderate-plus carbonation on the palate.. balance and mouthfeel were spot-on. This should score a lot higher, and I plan on drinking many more. Yum.

Very nice beer. Went very well with the Chinese I had for dinner. Aromas and flavors of ripe bananas. A little sweetness is present. The finish lingers for a long time.
