Nose-big slap of coriander and lotion. Taste-wow. Very, very mild. I generally don’t like the whole soapy/coriander thing that most wits have, so the mildness of this is quite nice. Frothy mouthfeel, creamy, zesty, soft, very easy to drink. If I was a stickler for wits, I probably would not like this one. But, I am not, and I enjoyed it. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

No head though, and while the beer is a bi whispy. you can’t see mugh going on in the beer. The palate is much improved. Another well received beer. dkoonce (884), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 13, 2006 Pale yellow with a thick head and constant streams of carbonation coming off the glass. Fruity aroma of lemons. Sweet, a very light body with a wheat flavor and hit of cardboard. cewldre (268), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 12, 2006 Smells of oranges and bananas. Taste is very similar, with a little more emphasis on the banana flavor. It was a pretty nice combination of the two flavors, with a nice sweet taste. I liked this beer. illinismitty (1797), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 11, 2006 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of fruity yeast esters and orange peel. Flavor of wheat malt, yeast, orange, spice, but not overly sweet. Mild peppery and earthy finish. A tad light on texture and sweetness for my personal tastes, but a well crafted beer CharlesDarwin (1844), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 31, 2006 <!-- p -->A volatile fluid spills on the lab top, I reel in estery delight and swoon from phenolic fever. Some acetylhydes and banana esters waft upwards. The spice shop across the street opens its’ doors. The fluid is somewhat opalescent, with a glaze of peculiar yellow. The whales frothing mouth, releases a belch of rocky white sea foam. I open my lunch and bite into a vegetal sandwich of earthen greens and raddichio. A honey mustard sauce counters. My cream soda mingles, before washing my membranes clean. In the end, I’m left with a bite of toasted almond skins and the floral shop owners daughter.
<!-- /p -->This white is a little lacking. The body is there, but the flavor is run of the mill and the appearance nary cloudy enough. Could use some more yeast character as well. Hop wise, respectable. Effervescent. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

I guess I was looking forward to trying this one since I head some raves about it from a friend who had recently been through Ohio. You take recommendations like that with a grain of salt, but you still have it in mind to try the beer. Nose was sugary sweet, very light on the spice and even lighter it seemed on the wheat character. Flavor was similar, with lightly soapy and lightly sweet coriander, dough and wheat/hay flavors, and the texture was a little oily though the carbonation was a little too high (fizzy). ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 23, 2006 Bottle from Matt (DrBayern) Thanks! Pours out a yellow color with a white head. Smell is lemons, malts, spicies. Taste is similar, very easy to drink, a good runner up to allagash White and Hoegarden. Pretty wheaty and sweet too. I enjoyed it.
