Orange peel, corriander, and spices come to the nose. Those aromas also become the flavors with more lemon, orange, and spicy hops. Overall a pretty decent wit. Pours a nice cloudy yellow/gold with a medium lasting white head. Aroma is banana esters wheat, spice, flowery and lightly herbal. Wheat flavor, lemony, spicy and light clove. Smooith yet slightly slick mouthfeel. Pretty good wit. lukin013 (211), Columbia, Maryland, USA

Respectable wit taste... spice, wheat and yeast. A little watery on the palate. JoeMcPhee (5030), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

Strong vegetal coriander aroma, but there is a nice fresh wheaty spice and a bready maltiness as well. Flavour is actually quite nice. Citrus (both from coriander and Saaz type of hops). Herbal and spicy. Bready/yeasty with a fairly rich malt profile. Great fresh tasting brew. Aside from the vegetal notes in the nose, this is a very good brew. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2006 Hazy yellow color with a thick white head, plenty of lacing and a snappy carbonation. The nose is malty, more on the barley side but a bit of musky wheat. Some of nose yields light spices and fruit, but could easily be dismissed as yeast esters. Reading the description though, and I see that it’s both. The flavor is refreshing, a moderate body and a lively mouthfeel. The hops are certainly known and I like my wit a touch sweeter, but it still is eloquant enough to satisfy a basic quaffable beer craving. Finishes light and toasty, light tannic qualities. Good. moejuck (1172), Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 6, 2006 Not one of G.L.’s best products. The pour is a weak yellowish color with a white head. The aromas are citrusy and pleasant. The taste is a letdown for sure. The flavors are of oranges, and grapefruits, but the flavor is weak as is the mouthfeel. There are definitely some spices mixed in with the fruity flavors as well. This beer just seems to conflicted about what it is trying to taste like. "
