| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2006 Bottle (12oz). Hazy yellow-gold with a large, lasting fizzy-foamy white head, decent residual bubbling; in my Hacker-Pschorr goblet. Typical belgian wit aroma - softly spicy, candyish malt balanced by some lemony tart fruit, nicely yeasty. Taste is quite similar, spicy, yeasty, very lemony, has a bit of a sting in the finish. Body is a little watery, has astringency and sharp but not over-assertive carbonation - pretty decent, nicely on-style, IMO. cbkschubert (2027), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 26, 2006 Bottle courtesy of OhioDad. Best before 19 Oct 06. Poured a slightly hazed golden color with a white head. The aroma found bready wheat and spices. The flavor follows along the same. Light and crisp. Not bad for a warm day beer. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 20, 2006 Bottle: Slightly hazy golden color. White head. Aroma was spicy (corriander), some bready yeast notes. Flavor had a light breadiness to it, some more of the spiciness. Also a bit fruity. Very drinkable and quite refreshing. I’ve always liked this one. eaglefan538 (2403), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 8, 2006 Poured with a very huge head that laced and sustained itself well. The aroma was spicey, orange peels, and some coriander.... the combination made me think it was gonna be sweet. Flavor was bitter orange peels with a lot of coriander, perhaps too much (no candi sugar). There was a zing to the hops, yeast, and spice combination that was kinda neat (but almost something slightly rotten in the orange flavor). Mouthfeel was probably a bit too carbonated, but moderate to heavy for the style. Decent job, somewhat unique approach (kinda like Am. Wheat is to a German Wheat), but I’d take several within the style over this. bu11zeye (5675), Frisco, Texas, USA
