Medium gold pour, soft white head that sticks around a while. Faint hint of bananas in the aroma with some cloves as well. Buttery flavor with some spicy notes - coriander and finishes with some sweet yeastiness. Kind of a starchy mouthfeel. MtStateBeer (82), Hurricane, West Virginia, USA

Aroma is citrusy, maybe grapefruit, spices, and maybe a hint of grain. Flavor is sweet initially, with a slight bitter finish. Light on the palate and very drinkable. sja14 (106), Ohio, USA

Not the best offering from GLBC and not my favorite witbier. It almost seems too heavy for a wit. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Cloudy orangish yellow pour with an average fluffy white head. Smell is pungent funk and hefty yeast. A bit too pungent for me and not enough sweetness or fruitiness in there to balance. Flavor is a touch sweet and almost citrisy. It is nice and actually surprising. Thirst quenching and enjoyable. Bubbly palate that somehow works here. Smell is a touch feet-like but flavor is nice and refreshing and gulpable. FlssmrBrewAlum (1174), Lisle, Illinois, USA

Pours a light orangish hue with a decent white head that manages to stick around. Smell is typical of a wit, but more enjoyable than many of the popular ones of the market. Citrus, wheaty sweetness, spices, and a slight touch of coriander (But not very powerful at all). Initial is much the same, medium bodied and respectable in taste but still refreshing and light on the stomach and palate. Finishes smooth without any ill effects but also without a lot of memorable moments. Good, not the best, but a Wit I’d return to any day. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Pours a nice light orange color and is slightly hazy with a whitish head. Smell is freah wheatiness, & light citrusy lemon and orange. Very refreshing with soft wheat flavor and fruit as well. Smooth body, crisp carbonation with a hint of bitterness in the finish as well. Just a solid, solid wheaty, and citrusy witbier that was super refreshing and easy drinking. Probably my favorite witbier. hacim (3), , Oklahoma, USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 7, 2008 Tasty pale beer with a medium body and a cloudy complexion. Smells like fresh oranges mixed with spice. The spice taste is the first thing I noticed when drinking, although it’s balanced with enough sweetness that it’s not difficult to drink. Overall a great spring/summer ale, though far from Great Lakes’ best. 12many (231), Ohio, USA

Short lived aftertaste. A little spicy sweet flavor sits on the tongue for a second then its gone which makes you take another sip. Easy to drink and enjoyable on a summer night.
