Pretty good mouthfeels makes this an easy drinking beer. Although not my favorite style, I found this to be a very drinkable and enjoyable beer. grandridge (222), Port Clinton, Ohio, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 27, 2008 Pours golden with a swirling cloudiness. Aroma is yeast , citrus and some spice. Mouthfeel is rich and the taste is smooth for a light beer I really think it’s balanced and refreshing with nice bitter hop undertones that comes out in the finish. One of my favorites from great lakes like rampmaster said an excellent after work brew on a summer day. Can’t believe only a 3.3 here. This is better than hoegaarden imo. Excellent representation of a witbier. ewestern (198), Ohio, USA

| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Jun 18, 2008 Presentation: Poured from a 12oz bottle into an octagonal pint glass. It pours with a thin foamy white head that fades to thin covering of bubbles and leaves behined little to no lace. The body is cloudy with a cool pale yellow straw color. Its aroma has an aromatic Belgian style yeast with a lemon and orange citrus scent. Also there some leafy hop notes and a heavy dose of spice. The flavor has a spicy character. There is smooth coriander and yeast with a mild peppery kick back full of mild leafy and herbal hops and chamomile flavors. Some mild citrus notes mingle in and out nicely. The finish is mildly herbal and bitter as it fades out on a slightly dry note. Its palate is smooth and creamy with a medium body and playful carbonation that tingles on the tongue. This is one of the more complex witbiers that I have tried so far. It also had a nice calming effect on me that after a long day of work. (It must have been the chamomile.) Well done, I will need to get some more of this ale.
