Small tan head, fair retention with a bit of stringy lace. Amber orange color with a goodly amount of haze and floaters. Nose of pine and grapefruit, somewhat earthy. Body is med/full, lightly oily and resiny on the palate with a gentle carbonation. Grapefruit and pine enter first, citrusy orangey flavors all over the place with notes of pine and maybe some caramel malts bringing up the rear. Lightly sweet finish is hoppy and long. A touch more bittering hops to balance out the sweetness would be nice. Props to jasonmech77 for the bomber!

Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet spicy combined with light notes of malt. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of citrus and straw, leading to a dry bitter finish. I’m not overly impressed.

Bottle. A hazy orange beer with a big off-white head. The aroma is of sweet malt, lemon and floral hops, so is the taste. Medium to full body with a sweet light dry finish.

Bottle courtesy of SS: Poured a deep copper color ale with a big foamy head with excellent retention and some good lacing. Aroma of yellow grapefruit, floral and bitter hops is quite sublime and well balance for a style that does produce quite a lot of unbalanced beers. Taste is dominated by the yellow grapefruit characteristics of the hops with some floral malt notes and a bitter finish. Body is quite full with some great carbonation and no alcohol could be detected. Very well done for the style and something I wish I could have access to more often.
