This bottle shared by Crizay before DLD. Bottles also from miketd and prototypic Thanks!
Pours a gorgeous cloudy orange with very nice looking and lasting head. Smell is citrusy hops and fruity sweetness. Taste is smooth, peach and sweet ruby red grapefruit like fruitiness from the hops and mild to moderate bitterness. Slightly acidic tasting and medium bodied with sweet grapefruit flavor in abundance. Definitely enjoyed this even more the 2nd time I had it. Great double IPA. Thanks again guys!

Light amber in color with modest head. Flavor is slightly sweet with a very smooth finish. A strong beer that doesn’t taste strong.

bomber from fiver29. 08 vintage. pours hazy orangish amber with soapy white head. aroma has loads of grapefruit and tropical fruit and piney hop notes. flavor is pretty sweet with a juicy hop resins, piney, mango and pineapple, with a sweet candy sugar finish. medium body with low-average carbonation. alcohol is well hidden. this is one sweet and resiny double ipa. i was expecting a more balanced double ipa from great lakes but this is too sweet, although still really tasty.

Fresh bomber courtesy of fiver29. Pours a hazy amber with two finger off-white head. Nose is floral and citrusy. Palate is bitter grapefruit with a sweet malt background and a mild hop bite in the finish. Nice creamy mouth feel with moderate lacing. Hides the alcohol really well also. Decent beer – not as hoppy as I’m used to for the style, but it’s a very nice DIPA.

2008 Bottle. Man, This beer looks great in a tulip glass! One of the more attractive, for sure. Deep, dark orange with a fluffy white head. Good lacing as well. Aroma is of very fresh, sticky hops. A bit of earth and malt in there too. Flavor is malt forward with dry, bitter hop near the finish. This is definitely not the same beer pre-hop shortage. Mouthfeel is full and creamy. This bottleing is much better than last year, but the recipie seems changed. Good beer, but a very odd IIPA at this point...hard to classify. It does hide the abv very well. I would have rated this beer 4+ in previous years, on draft at the brewpub.

#100! On tap at the brewery pours a hazy orange color. Smells like a subtle pine tree blowing in the wind in spring time releasing its oils. Has a nice white head that pillows away like clouds. Has some lacing on the glass. Tastes like grapefruit, pine, caramel, and some other sublte complex citrus flavors. Has no alcohol smell or taste and can sneak up on you at 9%. Has a very sweet caramel malt taste as you drink it. I’m pleased to make this #100.

Bottle courtesy of jsquire. Small ivory head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, murky, very little carbonation observed, and an orangish hue. Nose was caramel, hoppy, pineapple, and grapefruit. The Flavor was lightly bitter, caramel, hoppy, grapefruit, pineapple, somewhat vinuous, and finished dry. Tingly, dry mouthfeel. Medium body. A very quaffable beer and somewhat mild tasting for the style IMO. I would definitely drink this one again.

Hazy golden body with a small off-white head. Hoppy nose with herbs, grapefruit, peach, apple and honey. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter with grapefruit, cotton candy and tangerine. Medium/full body is slightly chewy with moderate carbonation.
