Gentle hoppy floral aroma mixed with a scent that immediately reminded me of Sheffield Midland Railway Station in the mid 1980’s, a mix of grime and diesel and used ticket stubs - a pleasant enough aroma but not quite what I would expect from a glass of beer, not such a nostalgic journey in the mouth with gentle toffee notes blending harmoniously with a soft hop bitterness and slight peppery spiciness, quite full bodied and slightly nutty. The nuttiness lingers slowly into the finish, some of the fruity hop bitterness returning and a gentle malty sweetness playing around the lips. Ahh, thats my train now, I must be going.
