leaparsons (4001), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Aug 13, 2008 Cask, Newark Fest 08. Bronze with a small head. Aromas are malty with pear fruitiness. Flavours are dry tea and pear with herbal notes. Some citrus and traces of metal. OK, if a bit thin. Pub (4125), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Oct 13, 2007 Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’07. Brown amber with slight head. Smooth thin maltymild, fruity, apples,plums with a bready background. Quite rounded for a low ABV mild, easy drinking, its a reasonable mild and worth a try.
