Cask@Newark Beer Festival, 2008. Golden brownish beer with a toffee aroma and a toffee’ish and mildly dry flavour. Overall a reasonable beer.

Cask, Newark Fest 08. Bronze with a small head. Aromas are malty with pear fruitiness. Flavours are dry tea and pear with herbal notes. Some citrus and traces of metal. OK, if a bit thin.

Cask conditioned at Oxford Beer Fest ’07. Brown amber with slight head. Smooth thin maltymild, fruity, apples,plums with a bready background. Quite rounded for a low ABV mild, easy drinking, its a reasonable mild and worth a try.
