Cask gravity at Ashford Rugby Club BF 2008. Slight haze, no head. Yeasty, bit of green apple, not quite ready. But some yeasty character, bit more green apple, but actually it’s not all bad.

Cask in Blackfriars. Aroma is Malty, slightly sulphurus, grassy and tea like tones. Taste is bready and biscuity, malty base with bittering and a little grassy hop.

A very light amber pour covered by a minimal off-white head. Gently orangey, tartish and citrusy nose with supporting toastiness, but also juicy and slightly plasticy yeast notes. The frequent English stale bread also kicks in and simplify the flavour deployment. Tea-like suggestions in the hoppy finish. Light-medium bodied, flat.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2007, London. [Welsh Mountian IPA]. Light yellow amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, flowers, citrus, toffee. Initail flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter, finish flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. (Very mild and smooth) Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat.

Cask@GBBF2007. Golden colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is quite much plastic and hoppy. Flavour is grass, hoppy fruits and lots of wood. Some slight notes of yeast. Quite wooden aftertaste.
