Pours a clear dark copper amber colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a film top. Aroma of Belgian yeast, candi sugar, tropical fruit, some Christmas potpourri, and raisin. Taste is medium to full bodied, smooth, with flavors of Belgian yeast, some clove, coriander, a touch of apple and candi sugar. Finish is semi-sweet, alcohol bite with a slight apple, raisin aftertaste. BVery (559), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA

One of the many beers in the greatly improved, and interesting, Great Waters lineup. A thick, malty Belgian ale true to style. The flavor and aroma are just like the description says. Sweet and malty, some dried fruit and a little apple, but in a good way. Dark, some sugar. moelikebeer (220), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
