| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 4, 2005 Light straw color, no head, smooth mouthfeel. The aftertaste built dramatically for six seconds into a phenomenal hazelnut (almost liquid Nutella!) finish--don’t know if this was intentional, (probably due to something septic, judging by the other earlier reviews of this brew) but absolutely fabulous due to this finish nonetheless. jazz88 (2237), San Francisco, California, USA

Clear, light golden color, average white head.
Aroma, very minor, very small.
Tiny tip-toe of hops on the palate. Light body, low testure, minimal finish. Passes easily through, leaving little impression.
Light in every way, but that’s the design here, I’m sure. Every decent brewpub has to have something for the folks who walk in and try to order a Coors Light, and this is theirs.
For that purpose, it works...otherwise, skip...

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 1, 2003 On tap, served cold, right there from the bar. I wasn't in the mood for a strong ale or stout so I decided to try the lighter fair that was recommended by the bartender as a favorite and a popular choice amoung the handful of people who frequent the place.
I knew as soon as the bartender put the glass in front of me I wasn't going to be impressed. An OK offering of a pale. Hazy, solid yellow color with a off-white, small bubbly head. Smells lightly of grain and slight hop tinge. Taste is sweetly tanged hops sort of citrusy. Finishes dry with a small hop bite, kinda of grassy. I wasn't impressed LaChad (1375), San Francisco, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | May 22, 2002 Definitely a notch above the usual brewpub’s beer for people who don’t drink real beer. Slight spiciness, ginger, woodiness. Drinkable but not remarkable.
