JK (2501), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Apr 27, 2008 Pryde of Lyons is not as flavorful as I hoped. Mild, grain aroma. Mild hops and lightly bitter malt, I don’t pick up on the rye at all. Light, sour bite at the end. Gold and a little cloudy. A few extra points for attempting an unusual beer.
badgerben (3160), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Apr 24, 2008 Another rye beer from Great Waters! Cloudy gold color with a medium head. Light rye and hop aroma. The rye lends the flavor a bit of pepperiness, but otherwise this beer is mainly dry malt and a creamy mouthfeel. Solid.
