Clear light yellow orange color with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, hoppy, flowers, lemon, butttery. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (030508) Mes_and_Sim (4477), Highgate, Greater London, England May 11, 2008 A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival. Bright gold with a decent white head. Good citric hops with some nice earthy malt. Light bready notes with some icing sugar sweetness. Could do with some more hoppage in the flavour but not a bad beer over all. downender (1616), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Apr 23, 2008 Cask-conditioned at the Rising Sun, S Gloucs 22/4/08. Deep golden colour with a slight, off-white head. Light aroma of grassy hops with a touch of sweet fruit. Flavours of sweet malt and earthy hops before a short, dry finish. Ok. Rune (1811), Tromsų, Norway Mar 23, 2008 Half pint served at ambient temperature from gravicask at London Drinker BF 08. Clear golden body without any head at all.
